PFLAG Peachtree City has a lending library with nearly 300 LGBTQ resources (books, pamphlets, DVDs, CDs) that can be borrowed by support meeting attendees for one-month intervals. Resources are organized into eleven categories: Biographies/Memoirs; Children/Youth; Coming Out; Fiction/Humor; History; Miscellaneous; Parents/Educators; Relationships; Religion/Spirituality; Transgender/Gender Non-Conforming; Workplace. To view our library catalog, click here.
The library is available for browsing 30 minutes prior to (6:30 to 7 PM) and 15 minutes after (8:30 to 8:45 PM) each third Thursday support meeting (7 to 8:30 PM). If you would like to donate resources to the library or recommend resources for us to obtain, please email our chapter librarian.
We are grateful to PFLAG Atlanta who donated their entire library collection and bookcase to us.
The national office of PFLAG has developed several excellent publications which can be downloaded free from http://www.pflag.org/publications. Printed copies of most of these publications are also available during our 3rd Thursday support meetings.
