Dear PFLAG Peachtree City Members and Supporters:

Your health and wellbeing is the top priority for our PFLAG chapter. With that in mind,
and based on the data and information we have received from PFLAG National, CDC,
WHO and Georgia Department of Public Health about limiting social gatherings during
the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, we are cancelling our regularly scheduled
monthly meeting this Thursday, March 19.

Even though we are not meeting in person, PFLAG Peachtree City board members are
available to provide non-emergency support. Please reach out to us at
ptcpflag@gmail.com. You may also find helpful information on our “Resources”
page. For transgender youth and their parents, TransYouth Family Allies is a great resource.

For urgent support, visit pflag.org for an up-to-date list of emergency hotline
numbers, available nationwide.

We will re-evaluate the situation before our April meeting and let you know what we
decide by email and Facebook post.

Tori Stivers
President, PFLAG Peachtree City

OUR VISION. PFLAG envisions a world where diversity is celebrated and all people are respected, valued, and affirmed inclusive of their sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression.

OUR MISSION. By meeting people where they are and collaborating with others, PFLAG realizes its vision through:

  • SUPPORT for families, allies, and people who are LGBTQ
  • EDUCATION for ourselves and others about the unique issues and challenges facing people who are LGBTQ
  • ADVOCACY in our communities to change attitudes and create policies and laws that achieve full equality for people who are LGBTQ

We welcome the participation and support of all who share in our Vision and Mission and who hope to realize our goals.
